In collaboration with the childrenâs book A Bear Called Paddington first published in 1958, Hobonichi company has created a letter set based on Paddingtonâ¢.
Paddington is a bear who traveled alone from Peru to England, and lives with the Brown family in London. He wears a trademark red hat and blue coat, and loves marmalade sandwiches. He writes letters about his daily life and sends them to his Aunt Lucy in the Home for Retired Bears where she lives in Peru.
Weâve made an original letter set based on this charming bear, and picked out scenes where Paddington makes happy announcements to his Aunt Lucy in his letters. âI got a present and am keeping a scrapbook.â âI made some new friends.â âI was on TV!â The paper is a light cream-color and comes in four different designs with three pages each.
The set includes four envelopes with a two-tone color scheme based on Paddingtonâs brown fur and trademark red hat. You can also see a lineart drawing of Paddington opening a letter at the front door, and a watercolor decoration designed to look like a stamp.
The letter writer and the recipient are both sure to break out into a smile at this cute set. Feel free to send a nice letter to someone important to you.
